Job Title: Welder, Second Shift



Job Description: You are responsible for the fabrication and welding of ladder-type trays, ensuring high quality and adherence to production standards. This role requires proficiency in MIG welding, jig setup, and the ability to work with various metals, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

Pay Rate: $22.41/hour + Plus shift premium
Opportunity for overtime available

Duties and Responsibilities:


Be able to set up straight section jigs as to width of tray and rung spacing
Be able to weld all basic types of ladder-type trays
Set up welding guns for both steel, stainless steel, and aluminum parts
Responsible for maintaining quality and production standards
Informs supervisor of an malfunctions of equipment or errors
Must be willing to wear all safety PPE
Must be able to stand and bend for 8 hours a day
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:


Education:


Required: High school diploma or equivalent




Knowledge and Experience:


Required:


Ability to pass a welding test
MIG welding experience
Willingness to work with a computer
English language proficiency, both written and spoken
Ability to read blueprints


Preferred:

Completed welding school
