Company Overview:

Located in Streetsboro, Ohio; we specialize in plastic compounding. We mix raw materials and chemicals to make both plastic powders and pellets to be distributed to various companies that produce plastic products including water bottles, kids toys, home goods, windows, pvc pipes, car parts, etc. Our process is automated and we strive ourselves with excellence in safety and quality! We have been in business for over 25 years and continue to grow! We are currently offering a full benefits package which includes a $2,000 sign on bonus!

Position Overview:

The production associate is the key player in our production. The production associate is responsible for operating and monitoring the pellet and powder machines. You would be preparing the cardboard boxes, operating the machine, preparing the full boxes for shipping and moving the boxes with a sit down tow motor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Person will be preparing 6ft by 6ft cardboard gaylord boxes, lined with plastic bags.
• Person will place an empty pallet with a box on top-under the hopper.
• Person will push the button on the machine to fill the box.
• Once the box is filled, person will close up the bag, lid the box and move the box via sit down tow motor to the staging area. (Will train on the tow motor.)
• Must be willing and able to clean up in-between cycles. Sweeping, mopping, dusting, etc.
  Requirements:
  
  • 6+ months of manufacturing experience is preferred
  • Ability to lift 40lbs regularly.
  • Steel toe boots are required
  • Must have your own transportation to Streetsboro
  • Must be open to working a rotating 12 hour schedule
  • Reliability and excellent attendance at previous employers.
