Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to lead and
manage our customers' SAP HCM Global Payroll and Job Family
Architecture initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in SAP Global
Payroll, including payroll processing, compliance, and operational
efficiency, as well as deep knowledge of data governance, job
architecture, and change management best practices.
This role requires strong project leadership, stakeholder
management, and vendor oversight to ensure successful project
execution and alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Management:
Lead the end-to-end SAP HCM Global Payroll and Job Family
Architecture initiatives.
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment
with business goals.
Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring adherence to budgets
and timelines.
Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies to drive
project success.
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams,
and external implementation partners.
SAP Global Payroll Expertise & Responsibilities:
Oversee SAP Global Payroll implementation, configuration, and
operations across multiple geographies.
Ensure payroll compliance with local, regional, and global labor
and tax regulations.
Manage payroll configuration, testing, and deployment in SAP,
ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Drive payroll automation, optimization, and integration with
third-party systems (e.g., tax, benefits, and financial
platforms).
Monitor and resolve payroll discrepancies, ensuring data integrity
and process accuracy.
Support payroll reporting, analytics, and audit processes, ensuring
alignment with financial and HR policies.
Job Family Architecture & Data Governance Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of job family architecture,
ensuring alignment with business structures and workforce
planning.
Develop and implement job frameworks, role classifications, and
career path structures.
Oversee HR data governance practices, including data cleansing,
validation, integrity, and security.
Ensure standardized job titling, pay structures, and competencies
to improve workforce analytics and decision-making.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to streamline data
structures and eliminate redundancies.
Ensure job family data is aligned with SAP HCM, supporting accurate
payroll processing and talent management initiatives.
Change Management & Best Practices:
Develop and execute change management strategies to drive adoption
and minimize resistance.
Provide training and support for HR, payroll, and business teams on
new job architecture and payroll processes.
Establish and promote the best practices in payroll governance, job
structure standardization, and HR data integrity.
Vendor & Implementation Partner Management:
Manage third-party SAP implementation partners, ensuring adherence
to project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Hold vendors accountable for performance, compliance, and
contractual obligations.
Oversee system testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance
efforts.
Evaluate implementation outcomes and drive continuous
improvements.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
7+ years of experience in SAP HCM Global Payroll and project
management.
Expert-level knowledge of SAP Global Payroll, including payroll
schemas, tax rules, off-cycle payroll, retroactive calculations,
and wage type configuration.
Strong experience in multi-country payroll operations, compliance,
and localization.
Proven experience in HR data governance, family job architecture,
and workforce analytics.
Deep understanding of payroll data management, including integrity,
validation, cleansing, and security.
Experience in end-to-end payroll system implementations, from
blueprinting to post-go-live support.
Familiarity with SAP Payroll integrations with third-party systems
(e.g., benefits, tax authorities, financial systems).
Knowledge of global payroll regulatory requirements, such as GDPR,
SOC, and country-specific labor laws.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management
skills.
Ability to analyze payroll discrepancies, troubleshoot system
issues, and drive resolution.
PMP, PRINCE2, or SAP HCM certification is a plus.
