Due to continued growth and expansion into the market, we are currently accepting applications for Local Truck Driver CDL B Flatbed Delivery in the North Canton, OH location.

Compensation:

• Hourly wage of $22.50 to $28.00 per hour, based on experience.
• Overtime paid after 40 hours per week.
• Typically work 40-50 hours per week.
• Two Bonus programs available; paid out every 6 months.

  • Career advancement opportunities. Work Schedule:
    • Monday-Friday.
    • Work schedule typically 6:00am-2:30pm or until work is completed. Usually 8-10 hours per day.
    • Home every day.
    • Orientation/Safety Training in Southington, CT; approximately 3 days, all expenses paid.
    • Must be flexible with work schedule, work schedule may change based on business needs. Responsibilities:
      • Route delivery, driver assist unload and forklift.
      • Drive CDL B flatbed to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations.
      • Secure pallets using straps and tarps. Strap and unstrap at each delivery.
      • Document pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
      • Manage hours of service (HOS) and ensure DOT compliance.
      • Provide excellent customer service.
      • Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle.
      • Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers. Requirements:
        • Hold a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License, with air brakes endorsement.
        • Minimum of 6 months of CDL B delivery driving experience preferred.
        • No experience with flatbed and/or forklift required; will train the right individual.
        • Ability to operate an automatic and manual transmission.
        • Familiar with Smart Drive or other fleet safety technology.
        • Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screen.
        • Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses.
        • Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors.
        • Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
        • Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
        • Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical.
        • Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance.
