But there is a chance it would move into full time in the future.*Competitive compensation, professional development opportunities, and a vibrant community await you!*_*Perks for Full time staff:*_* Full-time and flexible hours based on the schedule to treat patients* PTO* Health, Dental, and Vision benefits* FSA/HSA* 401K with 25% company match (ask the hiring manager for more information!)* Employee Assistance Program* Life and Disability Insurance* Opportunity during the year to volunteer in the community._*Primary Job Duties*_* Assist physical therapists in conducting assessments to evaluate residents physical abilities, functional status, and rehabilitation needs through comprehensive assessments.* Implement individualized treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists, including physical exercises, activities, and interventions aimed at improving residents functional abilities and achieving treatment goals.* Provide hands-on assistance and guidance to residents during therapy sessions, ensuring safety, proper technique, and optimal outcomes.* Document resident progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.* Communicate effectively with physical therapists, nursing staff, and other team members to coordinate care, share information, and promote continuity of services.* Collaborate with residents and their families to establish realistic goals, educate them on therapeutic techniques and strategies, and provide support and encouragement throughout the rehabilitation process_*Experience/Qualifications:*_* Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a physical therapist PT or asistant PTA in the state of Ohio.* For this role we'd prefer the applicant to have 1-2 years experience in this field. However, we strive to provide our staff with professional growth during their employment.
