RN Surgery - OR Serving the needs of Garfield Heights and the Southeast communities of Cuyahoga County, Marymount Hospital is an acute care, faith-based hospital. This team provides each patient with the highest quality surgical care in a supportive, healing environment. A caregiver in this position works from 7:00AM - 3:30PM, with on-call requirements. A caregiver who excels in this role will:

• Provide nursing care in an operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures.
• Perform scrub and circulating functions.
• Prepare the OR, surgical instruments and equipment for use.
• Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
• Graduate from an accredited school of professional Nursing
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• One year of RN experience OR completion of Cleveland Clinic's Perioperative Residency Program Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

    • Full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients
    • Manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination
    • Standing and walking for extensive periods of time
    • Medium Work, exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and / or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
    • Physical Demand requirements in excess of those for Light Work
    • Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds
    • Ability to push, pull, and navigate supply carts weighing > than 75 pounds periodicallyPersonal Protective Equipment:
