Role Overview: Sodexo is seeking an Area Clinical Nutrition Manager for Ohio. - This position will primarily cover the Cleveland area but could travel to any Sodexo location in Ohio. - The Registered Dietitian in this position can expect a lot of variety in their work! - You will cross-cover for vacancies or time off in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings, as well as in clinical leadership roles. - You will also work on policies, regulations, and survey preparation. - - -This is a hybrid role with a home office traveling at least 60% of the time. - All travel expenses are reimbursed. -Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees, and CDR renewalThree weeks of vacation, eight holidays, and three personal days paid each yearReimbursement for continuing education eventsCareer advancement opportunities with Sodexo's Clinical Career Ladder What You'll Do: -Provide nutrition care for a variety of patients in inpatient, outpatient and community settingsCover clinical leadership at Sodexo units in Ohio as neededAdvocate to expand and promote the role of Clinical Nutrition throughout the facilityFoster a culture of learning that promotes career growth and professional developmentProactively seek out and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholdersDrive Performance Improvement and Quality Management projectsMaintain high standards for regulatory bodiesEducation to medical staff, dietetic interns, and students What We Offer: Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. Qualifications & Requirements: Minimum Education Requirement:Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) -For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) - -Credentials Requirement:Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. - In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire -Minimum Management Experience: 6 years experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short/medium timeframes within the overall policy framework -Minimum Functional Experience: 5 years as experienced specialized practitioner - able to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to specialists.
